Breast cancer remains one of the biggest health problems for Australian women. With over 12,000 women diagnosed in the past year alone, chances are you will know someone who has been affected by this terrible disease.
Monday, 27th October is Pink Ribbon Day – a day when we ask all Australians to come together and support the special women in their lives either by buying or selling one of our special pink ribbon gifts.
The Pink Ribbon is the international symbol of hope for women with breast cancer, which is what makes it so special to Australian breast cancer patients and their families.
This Pink Ribbon Day, there are several ways in which you can get involved and show your support:
- Volunteer to sell our latest Pink Ribbon merchandise
- Buy one of our special Pink Ribbon gifts from a variety of retail outlets throughout October
- Wear your support on your sleeve with one of our limited edition Pink Ribbon t-shirts
- Host your own Pink Ribbon event
Funds raised will help the Cancer Council to continue research into the causes and treatments for breast cancer and to provide ongoing support and education for Australian women and their families. With services in each state and territory across Australia, we can ensure that funds are spent where they are raised. With your help, we can give hope back to those in need. |
