One of the most effective and rewarding ways of raising funds for Cancer Council SA is by holding large events, which engage the support of the community and provide an opportunity to support the cause in a fun, easy, yet symbolic way.

Walk for Real Hope
10 February 2008

Walk for someone you love, or for the tens of thousands of South Australians affected by cancer and for those who collectively dream of a world without cancer
 
Australia's Biggest Morning Tea
22 May 2008

Throughout May, more than one million people came together at work, school, home and in their community to make their cups count in the fight against cancer.
 
Call to Arms
June-July 2008
 
From June, sporting clubs across Australia will unite to face their toughest opponent yet - cancer.
 
With one in two men diagnosed with cancer during their lifetime, Cancer Council's new event, Call to Arms, is a great way for local sportsmen to rally together by wearing a yellow armband on match day.
 
Any sporting club can join, so register now and help save the lives of men right across the country

Daffodil Day

In 2007 Daffodil Day Raised $7.9 million . Thank you to all the supporters who sold, purchased and volunteer for daffodil day. This would only be possible with your support.

Girls Night In
October 2008
 
Hosting a Girls Night In is simple - just invite all your girlfriends around for a night in and ask them to donate the equivalent of what they would have spent on a night out.  The funds raised will contribute to finding a cure for breast and gynaecological cancers.
 
Pink Ribbon Day

The Pink Ribbon is the international symbol of hope for women
living with breast cancer. Show your support this October
by buying or selling Pink Ribbon Day merchandise.
 
 
Relay for Life
A team event to fight cancer.
